The Children Of Castor was a post-apocalyptic science fiction TV series. For its young stars, Andy Van Allen and Nick Lee, the future looked bright. The show came to an end when Nick went to America to become a successful actor in a series called Sherlock Holmes In Miami. Andy did not go on to fare so well. He is now working in a hotel, handling luggage. In the intervening years the show  attained a small cult following and one day a call comes in from a die-hard fan asking whether Andy would be prepared to come on a fan cruise that he has organised - basically, a floating convention where, for a week, Andy would once again be a star. Fighting his sense of bitterness, failure and jealousy he agrees to go, not realising that Andy is being courted to make a superstar appearance. The week will change Andy’s life.
