Border Cafe

Successful rock star Charlotte retires from the music business to open an eating house on the border of three counties with her boyfriend David, something they both thought to be his long term dream. His brother Kidder - challenged in many areas of his life and not the sharpest of tools - is taken on as head chef to give him a direction in life. Someone else’s life however was ruined by Charlotte’s retirement. Ronnie had played the part of Charlotte in a tribute band and going unsuccessfully to plead for Charlotte to return to performing, she makes such a fool of herself that the good-natured star gets her boyfriend to take her on as staff. The lives of the star and the copy cat start to intertwine as the reasons Charlotte really left the band return to haunt the cafe.
